12 of 12 June 2011

I first saw this on Brian's blog and then went to Untitled Chad Darnell Project  who started 12 of 12 .  It has been 6 months since my last post.  Things just seemed to get so crazy and I never seem to have the time or energy to do anything extra.  But anyway I digress...here is my first 12 of 12 for 2011.

First thing in the morning...feed us daddy...take us out daddy...play with us daddy.

Chase and I went to the our local water park.  It's part of the Collier County Parks system.  It's only $10 to get in for a morning of fun.

This is the map of the park.  It has a couple of large pools, water slides, and a lazy river.

This is the view from our spot under a large umbrella.  I like the sun and water but I need my shade so we get there early.

The water slides.

This is a pitaya or dragon fruit cactus that Chase surprised me with last month.  We planted it in a planter in the back yard and it already has 2 blooms getting ready to open for one night only.  I wonder if the bats will pollinate it so we get some fruit?

This is one of the buds.

Of course Tucker and Bam Bam have to go out to play any time I'm in the back yard.

It was freaking hot out so on the sofa I went flipping through the channels.

I had got this dog bed for Tucker when he was a puppy but Sassy has claimed it as her own.

Chase brought me this statue back from a trip he took to San Francisco.

Welcome back! Looks like you had a great day!

I've never seen a pitaya before - so exotic. Hope you get some dragon fruit!

Glad to see your name on the list this month! Also, nice to see the dogs and Sassy. What a nice water park. Smart to go early.....bet it fills up with a bazillion people later in the day. Hope to see you next month.
