12 of 12 October 2010

I first saw this on Brian's blog and then went to Untitled Chad Darnell Project  who started 12 of 12 .  October has been a busy month so far.  Any way, here is my 12 of 12 for October 2010.

Got up at 6:00 this morning and took Tucker out, put on the news and then later the Today show while Tucker ate and I showered.

The front yard flower area all planted for the winter season.  It was still a little dark outside at 7:15 when I headed off to work.

12 of 12 is rough on work days I don't usually even leave the building, just 9 hours in the same place.  However, I sneaked out for 10 min at lunch and grabbed this photo by our entrance.

The doctor's office I work at is in Bonita Springs which is North between Naples and Ft. Myers.  This real ship was a restaurant and then a bingo place, and now it's empty.  However it's a landmark that everyone knows, making it a good reference point for directions.

There is this little park in the historic district of Bonita Springs.  I drive by it every day on the way to work so today I stopped and walked around on my way home.

I love big old southern trees with Spanish Moss in them.  This cool one was in the little park.

This roadside attraction is located next to the park in Bonita Springs.  The last time I was in there was many years ago and I did not think it was so nice but I do love their billboards!

The park is next to the Imperial River which sometimes has manatees in it.  None today but they do have a manatee sign.

Found a couple of Knolls, a type of small lizard that lives in down here in South Florida.

I just thought these flowers were pretty.

When I got home Tucker was waiting for me.

Sassy on the other hand thought it was ok to just stay under the bed so under the bed the camera went.

Tucker is so darn cute! I missed looking at everyone's twelves last month....did you introduce Tucker then? I love the old trees with Spanish moss, too, but from a distance. Sit under one and get red bug bites! Hope to see you next month.

Aww, look at Tucker! So cute, it's untrue. Also, I like the manatee sign - not often you'd see one of those! In the UK anyway

Sorry for the late comment – I also posted my 12 of 12 late, doh!
