12 of 12 September 2010
I first saw this on Brian's blog and then went to Untitled Chad Darnell Project who started 12 of 12 . I have good news, after 2 months I finally fixed my laptop Vista issue. Now I will again have more access to the internet and my email. I am very sorry that I've been so absent and not doing a good job keeping up with emails but I had everything on my laptop and it was a royal pain to fix. I don't even know what actually finally did it. But now I can get caught up! Any way, here is my 12 of 12 for September 2010.

Today was my first day off in a long time. I slept in. I got up at 6:30 to let Tucker out for a potty break but then back to bed. This is the clock in the kitchen and I took this photo as I was making Tucker his breakfast. It was just past 9:00 am which is a really late start for me.
After being lazy most of the morning and then doing some house cleaning I went for a drive. This is next to the Publix where I use to by my groceries until the built another one 5 minutes closer to my house.
I went up the intercoastal waterway towards Ft. Myers Beach. It's a series of small islands connected by bridges and has some of those great Florida beaches. This is taken from the top of one of the bridges looking East towards the mainland through the intercostal.
This is looking West towards the Gulf of Mexico from the base of the bridge.
I came across this beach access area on Bonita Beach which was a really small but interesting looking area. There were only 4 parking spaces total and only one car there. It's a canopy of sea grapes leading the the beach. It looked like some enchanted secret path with a bright light at the end. I had to go...
It opens up to reveal a white sandy beach and there was almost no one around. This is out slowest time of the year of tourists. It's really hot and humid, the kids are all back in school, and the Europeans are back to work so it dies down here until late October.
This is looking North Northwest up the beach. It was a beautiful day but the water was slightly rough for the Gulf.
This is looking South Southwest down the beach towards Bonita and Naples.
This are sea grapes growing on the sea grapes that you walk under to get to and from the beach access area. They are not true grapes but you can eat them or make jam out of them.
Next I went to Publix (the one closer to my home) to get some food. I'm going to try to make coconut curry chicken for dinner tomorrow night. If it turns out good I'll make some for Chase when he gets back from Mexico. He's down at the condo for a couple of weeks. With my new job I was not able to get the time off to go.
Then it was home to play with Tucker and whip up some food for tonight. There is a bonus photo of Tucker too because the first one with the flash gives him devil eyes in place of his pretty blue eyes. Thank you to everyone who sen me nice comments about Tucker last month. This month I'll actually have access to my email.
Of course Sassy has to make an appearance too. Is this photo she looks a little drunk but I assure you she had not had wine or martini yet. It's more like she was annoyed with Tucker and me trying to get her photo.

Great pics - love all the shots of the water.
Tucker is adorable. Can he come over to play?

i look at the beach scenes and i sigh... oh well, eventually, later, one day, i'll unwind and let my toes sink in the hot sand somewhere...
lovely pets you got there. my cat doesn't like being photographed either. she thinks of me as her personal paparazzo and i fear there's an impending lawsuit or injunction against me from her... she's got that kind of attitude!!
see you next month!!

Don't you just love days when "the kids" let you sleep in. How can you say 'no' to Tucker's sweet face, tho?
My favorite was the grape canopy shot. Thanks for sharing!

Aww, Tucker's adorable! And I think Sassy is a little annoyed with the camera, yes - but she's a cat. so that's allowed! Thanks for the lovely beach shots, makes me almost feel like I'm there, relaxing!
(sorry my comment is late!)
