Goodbye Sweet Yuli

On Sunday, May 2, 2010 my dear sweet Yuli went to sleep one last time.  While I was in Japan a freak occurrence of one of her discs shattering left her paralyzed in the second 1/2 of her body.  She could not move her legs, wag her tail, or use the bathroom.  The doctors said that even with surgery she would not likely recover.  My best friend Skot who was baby sitting had to take care of the details as she went to sleep one last time.  He took these photos of her last morning.  Just writing this breaks my heart and fills me with tears.  I love you Yuli, I miss you, and I'm so sorry daddy was not here to say goodbye.

But you being away didn't make it happen, as you said it was just a freak thing - and although you couldn't hug her goodbye that last time, you gave her lots of love and hugs through the time you had her, and she would certainly have felt loved.
