12 of 12 June 2009

I first saw this on Brian's blog and then went to Untitled Chad Darnell Project who started 12 of 12 .    I'm a little late posting this month.  My sister was at Disney World last week so I went up Friday to spend the weekend with her and her family.  All my photos are from Disney then.  I'm such a Disney freak.

It was the last weekend of Star Wars Weekends at Disney's Hollywood Studios.  They were playing Star Wars music at the entrance and had live storm troopers above the turnstiles.  It was cool.

I love the Muppets.  Here is a giant Kermit the Frog.

A 3+ story Lady from Lady and the Tramp at the Disney resort hotel at which my sister was staying.

A monorail train in the station at the Epcot theme park.

The Tree of Life with hundreds of animals carved into it.

Antelope on the African safari.

An ostrich on the safari tour.  They are scary birds to me.  We had emus at the zoo when I worked there.  I did not like taking care of them as they were not very nice.

A beverage cart in the Asia area.  I like the tigers.

Signs at Disney's Animal Kingdom park.

Expedition Everest, there is a high speed roller coaster and huge yeti in that mountain.

A machine to spin you back in time to the time of the dinosaurs.

As the sun sets in Mexico... It is nice to be able to travel the world in just a couple days thanks to Disney magic.

Awww, makes we want to get back over there again now.
Those Stormtroopers are pretty cool too.

Is it me or is the tree of life just a little creepy?

It's been years since I've been to Central Florida-Ray really wanted to go to Universal Studios about seven years ago, so we did that instead of Disney. I think we'd have had a better time in the Magic Kingdom

    Nice 12!
