We go to Mexico every year at the same time in May for our little town's fishing festival.  This year I can't go because of school but will be going 3 weeks later when I have my break.  However, my friends are still going and Skot's mom was supposed to go but now has changed her mind due to the swine flu outbreak.  I looked it up on the World Health Organization's Website and there aren't even any cases of the Swine Flu in the state of Q'Roo where we have our condo.  It's also four weeks from now.  Anyway, I think Skot's mom is overreacting due to all the hype from the media.  When you look at the number of people that live in Mexico City and the number of cases reported there you are talking like .001 percent of the population has got the flu.  I'm not saying that getting swine flu or the flu in general is not serious and should not be monitored but is it just me or do we have another case of the media making something much larger out of this than what it really is again?
