12 of 12 March 2009

I first saw this on Brian's blog and then went to Untitled Chad Darnell Project who started 12 of 12 .  So, here is March 2009's 12 of 12...

I watched the Ellen show this morning while searching on line for a job.  It's hard, my area is number 3 of the list of worse places to find jobs in the US right now.  That sucks but Ellen puts a smile on my face.

Then I met some friends that I use to work with when I had a job for lunch.

Then I came home and worked on my martini party gift bags.  This Saturday is my 8th annual martini party.  It's 5 friends plus Chase.  Everyone spends the night as we have a great night of conversation, friends, and martinis.

These are pots and that Chase and I planted.  We are going to grow a vegetable and herb garden.

This is plot in the back yard we are preparing to plant the goodies when they sprout.  It's dry season here in South Florida so most of my grass in dormant and brown because I refuse to waste water on watering it when I know that it will come back to full green when rainy season arrives.

Yuli does not really like being outside but since I was there, so was she.

I'm going back to school for a year to become an X-ray Technician/Medical Assistant.  It seems like the medical field is the best place to find a job these days.  I'm hoping to marry my IT skills with my new medical skills.  I had to go to orientation tonight.

Chase came with me and afterwords he treated me a meal out.  This is some palms across from the restaurant while waiting for our table.

The shopping center where we were has a movie theater and I always like the neon lights at such places.

Sassy was ready for bed and had her little cat toy with her.

But I wanted to watch the new episode of Supernatural on the DVR.

Then I did not know what to do for photo 12 so I took a photo of my dot art hanging in my red room.

Sorry to read that you are looking for a job (I missed a few months of 12s), good luck with the training, that sounds a great idea. Your planted pots look very industrious, I love growing herbs. I always enjoy the blue skies in your shots, wishing you sucess with the job hunting.

Hey, when you're done with your garden, can you come do mine? I always have these grandiose plans that never seem to come to fruition (no pun intended).

    Yuli is ADORABLE!

Dan, I've followed your 12 of 12 for some time but haven't commented 'til now. I graduated from Sarasota High some time back and still call Sarasota home. I'm well aware of your "dry spells." Love your Sassy cat. As you noted, we now have a new addition to our home here in Ninety Six. Hope that the martini party went well. Good luck in your job search.
