The past two days have been busy in the kitchen.  My Grandmother (rest in peace) taught my mother how to make and can homemade jams.  A few years ago I asked my mother to teach me.  She did and now I make mostly strawberry and cherry jam each year when the fresh fruit is in season.  Well, it's strawberry season here in Florida and you can get 3 of the large containers for just $5 so I got 9 and made 21 jars of fresh strawberry jam.  I'll give some to my mom and my aunt and a couple as with gifts but most of the rest will become part of PB&J sandwiches!  Yum!
