I was not alone, there were many people laid off from the company where I use to work today. It's been one hell of year so far at work. Pay cuts, benefit cuts, layoffs, more layoffs, more benefit cuts, hits at more pay cuts, and now more layoffs... including me.

Aww Dan, I'm so sorry to hear that. I didn't understand that's what you meant when you posted that on your Facebook today. I thought it meant you were just looking for something else.
Well I know it's going to sound terribly cliche, but this will probably open the door to something better. I was laid off in 2001, and I went back to college, got my degree, and have had a successful career ever since.
Rodney was laid off in 2008 and we started our own underwear store.
So I can honestly say that being laid off opened us up to wonderful opportunities and we're better people because of it.
Maybe it's those survival instincts that kick in, which push us to find something better.
Anyway, I'm here for you. Let me know if you want to talk... although I know from your post earlier in the week that's it's probably best to give you some space, hehe
