I have not been updating as often again.  2009 has not been so great so far.  So we were all forced to take a 10% pay cut at work which was effective on January 1 of this year.  It was implied but not stated that this would prevent people from being laid off work.  That did not hold true.  Two weeks later lots of people lost their jobs.  I don't know how many because they don't tell us things like that.  One of those that lost their job was a friend of mine and my coworker.  I felt terrible for her.  I've been working and wondering when the next round will hit and will I be one of those that is laid off?  I mean if it happens it happens.  I can't worry about it but it's really just not been a good month.  I will stay positive and hope that future is as bright as I wish it to be.
