12 of 12 December 2008
I first saw this on Brian's blog and then went to Untitled Chad Darnell Project who started 12 of 12. I cannot believe this year is almost over. Since it's December and the holiday season most of my photos this month center around that theme. So, here is December 2008's 12 of 12...
The Ode Toad wanted to get in on the act (of course) so he posed in front of a winter wonderland.

Went to my friend's patio furniture store for lunch.

Came home and took photos of some of my trees and stuff for the holidays. I put up 4 trees this year and decorated the house and the lanai, and back yard, and outside of the house. This ornament was gift from a friend is on my main tree.

This is my main tree which is blue and white with blue, glass, and crystal ornaments.

More of the main tree. This is the tree under which Santa leaves gifts on Christmas Eve night.

This is my Disney tree. It has green and red lights and has all Disney ornaments, including lots of Tigger.

There is Tigger and Mickey.

The tree in the guest room is simple and has red and white lights.

I like this shot. This is the reflection of the main tree in a mirror and on the tile floors in the hallway to my bedroom.

The flower garden in the front yard is in bloom and lit for the holidays. There are inpatients and snap dragons planted for the winter.

My Powder Puff bush is loaded with these cool blooms.

Went to Skot's for dinner and to play cards.

*** Bonus Photos ***
More of the Powder Puff bush, as you can see it is loaded and will bloom for the next month of so.

A longer view of the front of my house.

Love my penguins in the front yard.

Hey Dan, wow those decorations are really something special, nice work! Something tells me you're the fan of the holidays
And in that FL heat too. Happy holidays to you and Chase, hope you have a good one!

I love all your decorations. I've gotten real lazy about decorating for Christmas....should be ashamed of myself. Have a wonderful Christmas in sunny Florida. In Sarasota, we'd have a fire in the fireplace at Christmas, even if it meant turning the air on.
That powder puff bush is gorgeous.

Like my sister, Sunny, I admire your decorating spirit. And, dang, do I remember those fires on Christmas with the A/C turned on full.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

I love the blue tree, very shiny. I'm definitely going to have to get me one of those powder puff bushes someday, looks pretty neat.

I love that you're so into Christmas decor! It's great! My favorite is your first tree. But my most favorite is your frog! That is a great shot.

Sorry for being late again - had a nightmare train trip home after a weekend away (got home at 5:20am, no sleep), and it's still messing my sleep up now! Thanks for your comments this year, and see you in 2009! Happy Christmas and New Year!
