It's been a while since I've updated the blog.  Last week (the week before the election) I was working like 12 to 14 hours a day to get ready for my vacation in Mexico.  Then I got here to Mexico and it has been no vacation.  I got here and our condo was pretty much trashed.  It was extremely dirty and all kinds of stuff was either missing or broken.   In the three years we've owned the condo such a thing has never happened.  When we get here it is always clean and ready to go.  When you rent something out to strangers, there is going to be wear and tear and things will break.  But this was not normal wear and tear as like I said in three years it has never been to this degree.  So we've been working on stuff all week and it will be good as new by tomorrow morning.

My very good friend Pam took the plunge and moved here to Mexico.  She, Skot & Mike, and myself each own 1/3 of the condo.  We all want to move here to Mexico.  We will live someplace else as the condo is a rental investment for us and it should be paying for itself.

I really wanted to spend some quality fun time with my friend Pam but that has not materialized.  She's never been alone.  She has two young girls.  I like spending time with her and the kids but she's also had a constant stream of other people with or around her.  A couple of them are great but a couple are really not and one is primarily responsible for the said abuses to our condo.  So there has been no quality time with one of my best friends and that makes me sad.

For the first time ever I am actually looking forward to getting home from Mexico.  It will be nice to just decompress.  Next week I should finally be back to regular blog updates.
