12 of 12 October 2008

I first saw this on Brian's blog and then went to Untitled Chad Darnell Projectwho started 12 of 12.  So, here is October 2008's 12 of 12....

Got up early and started my day with BBC World News.

Went out to grab breakfast because I knew it was going to be a busy day!  This is one of the many canals that run though out South Florida and one of 2 you have to cross to get to my house.

Had to scrub the house.  I keep a clean house but need to make it extra clean.  My parents and aunt & uncle are coming to visit tomorrow.  They will only be here for 3 days but I'm looking froward to seeing them.

Yuli got a bath today.  Has to be all nice and clean for grandma and grandpa.

Of course Sassy needs to get in on the act and she's perfect for Halloween.

Had to go to Skot's we were helping a friend move a few things with his truck.  He has lots of bougainvillea.

He also has bell ginger.  I love the way it smells and the flowers and plant are edible, we use to feed it to all kinds of animals at the zoo.

More of the bell ginger.

Had to go to the market to get food so there is stuff for the family to eat.  I love going down this street because it has 3 fountains.  Here is the first.

Here is the second.

And the third.

Then after I did a bunch of stuff at the house I had to make one more run to Target, where I had to visit the Halloween section.

Yuli seems to be daring you to come near and try to bath him Well done on all the cleaning - I need to channel your energy and hard work, so I clean my room (and maybe some of the shared kitchen) before my holiday - thanks for pushing me! Hope the visit's a good time for you all!

What great pix!!! I love the ginger pix. I posted some as well, but mine aren't near as pretty as yours. I will have to see if bell ginger can grow up here in Seattle. Thanks for sharing your day with us.
