I first saw this on Brian's blog and then went to Untitled Chad Darnell Projectwho started 12 of 12. So, here is August 2008's 12 of 12....
7:30 AM check on bananas before I head to work
8:10 AM and that darn Ode Toad is trying to take my breakfast
And then Tigger took my seat
My collection of fortunes that go well with the ending "in bed" is growing...
The rest of the day was work, work, work... worked through lunch but then around 6:00 PM went to down town Naples which is about 10 min from my office. Love the fountains!

Then walked over to the city pier
I use to live a few blocks from here. It is rare for the water to be this rough, not that this is that rough by most standards. But the Gulf of Mexico on the West Coast of South Florida is usually very calm.
I love walking the pier and it's cool at night too when the moon is full.
I love these palm trees
Looking back down the pier towards the open sea
Not a smart thing to do as 150 people are killed each year by falling coconuts but it's a cool shot looking up at a large coconut palm tree

I read your comment - "My collection of fortunes that go well with the ending "in bed" is growing..." And I ended up wanting to put "in bed" after that as well.
Nice 12 of 12. Makes me want to be in Florida, but away from the coconut palm trees.

Great pictures! So interesting to see scenes from places so different from my own. The palm trees are lovely. But stay away from those killer coconuts!
