OK, I am sick of the media, mainstream news, whatever you want to call it.  I'm tired of made up news you know where they take a nothing story and turn it into news.  Here are a couple of examples:

1.  Iran launches missiles and it's news and Iran is such a huge threat to the world.  Hello, they don't have the sophisticated guidance systems required to hit targets with any degree of accuracy.  Anyone can build a rocket/missile but it takes a hell of a lot more to make it hit it's target.  This is just another example of a big news story being made out of nothing and feeding into the Bush propaganda machine.

2.  The economy.  Yes it is tough right now, it sucks.  But it's like a self-fulfilling prophecy when they keep pumping out all this bad news and doom and gloom.  Partly they make it worse than it is and then they compound it by making it worse.

3.  Barack Obama on the cover of the New Yorker.  Who cares.  The New Yorker put a satirical cartoon on the cover.  BFD, get over it and move on.  I mean give me a break!

I have to watch, read, listen to the news.  I like to be up to date and to keep informed but I don't know how much more I can take.
