I broke down and got a new car on Friday.  I really hate having a car payment and it's been a couple years since I've had one.  I had a Kia which had like 130,000 miles on it and I did not do a good job maintaining it and the timing belt broke and it damaged the engine so I junked it.  This was back in December when I did not know what my future held.  So I bought a used van from my former company for $500.  The air conditioning was broken, the wipers only sometimes work, the windows only sometimes go up or down, the radio is on or off with no volume control, it was dented in the back...in short it was a piece of crap.  It's hot and rainy season here in Florida and I could not take it any longer.  So I bought another Kia, a Rio.  Here is what it looks like even this color.  It makes me happy!
