I Dare You To
I was thinking about the things I've been dared to do and that I've done. It's a funny thing a dare. Why do we do them? Are we afraid that someone will think we are afraid or that we don't have the balls to meet the challenge? I don't know why I've done some of the dares I've done. It's been a while since I've been dared to do something and as we grow and change I'm not sure what my limits are now. I do however look back and miss the more adventurous me. Here are a few of the dares I've completed:
- Tried almost all types of chows at the zoo including new world and old world monkey chow, kangaroo diet, leaf eater diet, and more.
- In the early winter in Cleveland after a Browns game my buddy and I went to the park and I was dared to go for a swim in the Rocky River. So I striped down to my undies and floated on my back in the ice cold water as the snow flakes melted on my face.
- Ate a live meal worm.
