I'm so stressed out now.  My gut tells me I won't be employed much longer.  I really fear and think that the company for which I work is going to go out of business.  We are really struggling and the owner is trying to gather additional capital to get us back in shape.  He thinks that he will have this done in 45-90 days but honestly I don't know that we'll make it that long.  I hope I'm wrong and this place pulls through but I just don't see it happening.

So, I have started looking for a new job.  I don't want to do this but I live by myself and I have only me to pay the mortgage and I have to be employed to do so.  Unemployment in the State of Florida is only $275 a week which won't cover my monthly expenses.

I've started applying for jobs using the on line tools and I sent my resume to a friend of my that said there is an opening at the company where she works.  It's funny to see how diverse the job range is for me.  I applied to be a park ranger as well as a technical writer, and just plain clerical work.

This is a scary time for me because I don't like uncertainty.  I like to know that I have a certain amount of money coming in and I can pay the monthly bills.

In the end, I guess it will be interesting to see how it all turns out.
