Today kinda sucked.  I got up late due to a power outage (note to self: get 9V battery for alarm clock) and was running late for work.  Then I picked up a coworker who was riding in with me.  Then on I-75 I got a flat tire.  No biggie, I am a gay man that can actually change a tire and oil and stuff.  I don't like to do it because I don't like that oily car stuff on my hands, it's just gross.  Anyway, I changed the tire in about 15 min time.  I start back up and get about 1/2 a mile and the spare gets a gash on the side and I have to pull over again.  I only have one spare so now I have to call AAA for a tow.  Now we're really late for work.

I got towed to a local tire place close to work.  I knew I was going to need new tires soon and had actually planned on 2 at the end of next week when I got paid and then 2 more at the next payday.  So, since I was there I just got all 4.  I have to order a new dough nut spare as they can't put a full size tire on a dough nut rim.  So I did not plan on dropping that money into the car right now but it had to be done.

I try to look at the bright side of stuff.  At least it is taken care of and at least it did not happen at 1:00 in the morning in the middle of nowhere Central Florida as I was driving home from Disney World!
