Like most people I went through different phases and had different ideas about what I wanted to be when I grew up.  When I was a little kid I wanted to be an Astronaut.  I wanted to explore the other planets and maybe by the time I grew up we would develop interstellar travel.  Then when I was in Jr. High I wanted to be a Physicist, maybe an Astro Physicist, Nuclear Physicist, or later on a Quantum Physicist. Then I was going to be a Science Teacher.  So I went to school to be a Science Teacher and ended up with a marketing degree.  Then I wanted to be a zoo keeper and animal trainer and went back to school to work on a zoology degree.  I did live that dream for 7 great years.  Now I'm a combo IT, Marketing, HR manager.  I really no where I ever saw myself being when I was a kid or teenager.
