I finally watched The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe  last week.  It brought back such wonderful memories.   When I was a little boy there was a family down the street with like 7 kids.  So there was kid in that family close to or the same age as most of the other kids on the street.  So we all spent a lot of time there as little kids, especially in the summer.  We would play kick ball and ride bikes and play tag, and just spend endless hours playing outside in their yard.  They had a double lot and a guest house which they rented out to a very nice lady.  I don’t remember her name but I remember that 1 day every week she would have all of us kids come into the house.  She made us homemade from scratch chocolate chip cookies and would read to us.  The summer that she lived there she read to us The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe.  As I watched the movie parts of the book came back to me and along with it all those wonderful memories from so long ago.
