Had a great weekend.  I rushed home Friday and got a nice fire going in the fire pit in the back yard.  I put out some food and got everything set for some martinis.  A couple of my friends (Tish & Liz) from my adopted Cuban family and Skot and Mike were coming over for a small holiday get together.  Just before they got there the rain started to fall all but putting out the fire.  That's OK, sat on the lanai and had some food and way too many martinis and wonderful conversation and just a good time.  Later after the brief rain I rekindled the fire (after Skot and Mike went home) and the girls and I sat around a roaring fire, listened to music, and relaxed.  It was wonderful.

On Saturday night I went to my friend Erika's house.  She is heading up to Chicago next week to study at Second City.  I worked with Erika at Disney we always had a great time at work.  I love it where you can say that, we always had a great time at work.  We took several trips to WDW and just plain had a fun.  I will miss her (she just graduated from FGCU) but I wish her the best of luck at Second City.  I hope it leads to a writing career at SNL which is her goal.

I worked my ass off on Sunday.  I got up early and swept and mopped all the floors and vacuumed and dusted and all that stuff.  I did all my Christmas cards, wrapped a bunch of gifts, went to Skot's to drop off some WDW pins, went to the store, did 4 loads of laundry.

All in all I had a wonderful weekend.
