I had a wonderful phone call tonight.  My friend Betty called to tell me she will be in Naples Oct 20th for a few days.  I have not seen Betty since I went to Washington DC to do training a little over 2 years ago.  It's been months since I've talked to her.  That is the cool thing about our relationship—We don't get to see each other very often and we don't get to talk as often as we like but when we do it's like no time has gone by.  We've known each other for 11 years.  I've been in Naples all that time, she's been everywhere.  She's always moving from one place to another, from coast to coast and in between.

Betty has such a great personality and a great big heart.  She was married to a total looser named Chris (I call him bad Chris) because she now is with great guy named Chris (I call him good Chris).  Bad Chris was always out of work, did not take care of himself, had lots of problems, and was controlling and not supportive of Betty.  She was lucky when it finally ended.  Then she met good Chris and he is such a nice guy and a good guy.  They have a wonderful life together.

The only bad part about their visit is that I won't be here for most of it.  Although they will be staying at my house I will be in Mexico.  When I get back I'll only have one afternoon and evening with them.  We will make the most of it!

This was simply a pleasant surprise and I am so happy to know that I will get to visit with Betty soon.
